Yoga-Chi-Kung
The mountain view at the King David Riding School is
exhilarating, and the air is wonderfully clear and fresh. In combining
this relaxed and soothing setting with our magnificent Arabian horses,
we are able to offer you a new and rewarding self-adventure.
Our new approach is actually quite ancient. We combine horsemanship
(which dates back to the time of Ancient Greece, Xenophon and his
mentor Ben Simon), Yoga breathing techniques and Chi Kung
"physical" meditation and exercises to:
- teach relaxation for controlling anxiety
- strengthen mind and body
- build body awareness
- build self confidence
- improve muscle tone
The 40 Lesson Program also includes:
- riding instruction
- psychology of the horse
- horse care
- archery on horseback (enhances stability of mind and body, coordination,
concentration and patience)
